Experience
Since 1995, beginning as Primary Network, our team has been
developing and operating local, regional and national IP and Voice
networks. Delivering advanced new services, enhancing end user support
and enabling web based service provisioning tools and billing systems.
We have been pioneering white label services since 1996 and 1997 with
launches of NineNet, on behalf of St. Louis’s Educational Television
Broadcaster since 1954, KETC Channel 9, and with KC Access on behalf
of The Kansas City Star, Missouri’s largest newspaper. During
1999 and early 2000 Primary Network executed fifteen acquisitions
of regional ISP’s and raised its annual run rate to $20M. In
June of 2000, Primary Network was sold to publicly traded MPower Communications
(MPOW) for $145M. One year later, MPower sold the business portion
of their ISP business back to the original ownership group of Primary
Network, creating River City Internet Group.
Award Winning
In 1999, the fastest-growing technology company in St. Louis
by the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association of St. Louis.
In addition, with a five-year growth rate of more than 10,000 percent,
Primary Network was named #22 on Deloitte & Touche's Nationwide
Fast 500. In 2000 we were nominated for the prestigious Computerworld
Smithsonian Awards for the advanced architecture of our Super Regional
